Open Positions

The Military Family Advisory Network, is seeking a qualitative data analyst to assist with research focused on military families, service members and veterans.

We conduct national surveys to qualitatively evaluate the status of support programming among our population, and the effects of military service on family life.  We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, and who doesn’t miss a deadline. Someone who is willing to learn and will maintain the confidentiality of this proprietary work.

Main responsibilities:

  • Qualitative data analysis on large textual data sets
  • Describe and quantify main themes that emerge in data
  • Use of Qualtrics software in analysis and reporting

Skills required:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree that included coursework in research methods
  • Previous experience with qualitative research analysis in a professional setting preferred
  • An understanding of military life through lived or professional experience
  • Highly organized with a superior attention to detail

This is a temporary contractor role, and we expect approximately 40 hours per week between November 2019 through January 2020.
