This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on MFAN’s website.  Any personal information you provide us — including our name, address, telephone number, and email address — will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside MFAN. We will instead use such information to provide any services you requested, to personalize content and advertising, to send you email notifications about our services, and to perform statistical analysis of user behavior to measure interest in the various areas of our site.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You may opt-out of receiving emails from MFAN by simply following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email you receive, or by sending a request to info@militaryfamilyadvisorynetwork.org.

Use of Cookies

Our servers may automatically try to identify all MFAN site visitors through a “cookie” that is placed in their browsers. MFAN newsletters, alerts, and other emails use these cookies to help us learn which and how many of our visitors open emails and click on a given story, feature, or ad. They also let us track users by their behavior profile and geographic location for the purposes of displaying advertising that matches their interests and/or specific location. Cookies are also used to let users store their login information, set their personalization, and navigate more easily through MFAN services online.

MFAN uses the data gathered from cookies for internal purposes to measure the aggregate number of people who view a given service or feature, helping us learn what kinds of content our audiences enjoy most.

By using our services, you hereby consent to our collection and use of your information as described above. Please note that, by disabling or blocking any or all cookies, some features of our service may not operate as intended or you may not have access to features or personalization options.
