A Twitter chat is like a meeting on Twitter; it has a specific discussion topic and a scheduled start time. Using the hashtag #MilCents at the end of each tweet, MFAN will ask questions to a group of financial experts.
As the Programs Manager, Nikole leads strategic programming for MFAN. She brings over a decade of experience in non-profit management and development, sculpting program curriculum from scratch, cultivating talent in teams, and building relationships with customers and businesses alike.
Nikole joins the organization from The Paradigm Switch, after a rich and diverse career that includes eight years working for Core Education, LLC in program and grant reporting, and two years working in user experience design at The University of Michigan Museums system. With a BA in Anthropology from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a MAT in Secondary Education, Earth and Space Science, Nikole is well-rounded and brings a unique approach to the military lifestyle and employment arenas. From digging in Pompeii to teaching in the classroom, each of her experiences has shaped her valuable skillset that lends to both detailed and wide-scope vision.
Nikole is a proud Active Duty Air Force spouse with over a decade of experience advocating for the community. She devotes her time to the health of high-ops tempo communities, as well as revolutionizing the way military spouse volunteers work and use their experience in base communities and professional organizations.
